Primary education is the first step in the making of the character of a child. It is the foremost and basic right of every child. It guides and molds a child to become a better human being for tomorrow and prepares them to face challenges and also open doors to new opportunities. It develops social, cognitive, cultural, emotional and physical skills. This book discussed different topics of children's educational status- academic performance of children of educated working class mothers, performance in co-curricular activities of children of educated working mothers, comparative study of method of teaching and evaluation of trained and untrained teachers, causes of dropout among lower primary school children, infrastructure management of Government lower primary schools, nutritional status of mid-day meal in primary schools and analytical study of minority Muslim girls and their enrollment in primary school, India.
