This research paper is about the Black Women Predicaments in the South Of the USA. In fact, they have undergone impossible for just being Black and Women. The novels of both authors used in writing this describe the pain that a young girl can suffer by living in a poor area where men dominate women and also where Black people live under White supremacy. Meanwhile, all this is not without consequences. Black women have lived psychological trauma but the positivity is that they have at last stood up and defend their rights and be source of inspiration for other women.

Nascida em Novembro de 1989 em Dakar, Laïssa estudou inglês na Universidade Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar. Após a sua licenciatura, especializou-se em Literatura Americana e obteve o Mestrado2 em Artes na mesma Universidade em 2016. Laïssa está interessada na cultura afro-américana acima de todas as mulheres negras, no feminismo e na literatura.
