The Broken Spear - 1800 BCE

The Broken Spear is a tale of tragedy, love, honour and revenge, set amidst the ancient Indus Valley. With the backdrop of an actual historic event, the clash between the indigenous Harappan culture and the invading Aryans, the author weaves a story of Ama, a young boy in the town of Daro. Tragedy befalls this future hero and his town. Ama's resulting quest for revenge leads him to find some honour, love and self discovery, among the enemy. How will the story end? It is within these pages, for the reader to discover.

Arun Kumar Pallathadka was born in South India. Having graduated in Geography, he is currently pursuing MS in Space Studies. He has authored several fiction and non-fiction works; he is well known for writing short novels and non-fiction science and history.
