Virgil's journey was mixed, orphaned and left in the hands of a tyrannical grandmother he and his sister embark on a journey to England where their lives change and his true calling begins.Virgil Cormack, is Pitt's man in revolutionary France, He is charged with finding out what is happening in Paris of the 1790's but is caught up in a macabre game instigated by the Brotherhood of the Hawks and along the way finds a love that he did not think existed.

Ray Best, was born in East London and grew up in Essex, he studied History and Photography at the Open University. And was a senior Technician Engineer for the NHS. He is a qualified, Education and Training advisor at a large University Hospital in the UK. This is his second book, the first being: The Brotherhood of the Hawk.
