Autorentext

Carl Von Clausewitz (1780 - 1831) was a Prussian general and military theorist who paid much attention to war's moral and political aspects. He took part in the Rhine Campaigns when the Prussian army invaded France during the French revolution and in the Napoleonic wars of 1806-1815. His works are based on his personal experiences and observation he made as a participant in the campaigns. Unfortunately, the most important of his books, Von Kriege ("On War"), was unpublished by the time of his death.
