Details

The purpose of this research effort was to understand why microfinancing and micro-entrepreneurship are not considered between valid alternatives for alleviating poverty in the most depressed neighborhoods of Toronto, Ontario. Research reveals that even though small businesses are the backbone of the Canadian economy, many resources get lost in the intricacies of bureaucracy, making it impossible for microentrepreneurs to benefit from a variety of programs.
