Details
Many of the operas of the Italian Maestro are known and performed all over the world due to his characteristic compositional style. As clarinettists we must know the most significant Verdian solos such as those of "La Traviata" or "Luisa Miller" among others. However, it is necessary to emphasize the existence of other less known operas in which our instrument plays an important role. In addition, it is advisable to know the musical moment in which each solo is in order to achieve an interpretation according to the scene. With this book we will know the musical aspects of these orchestral passages, their accompaniment or what happens in the scene during their interpretation. On the other hand we will see the compositional style of Verdi and the socio-political situation in nineteenth-century Italy.
