The constitutional regime for the payment of court judgements: analysis of Constitutional Amendment 62/2009 in the light of the Supreme Court's judgement in Direct Unconstitutionality Actions 4357 and 4425 This work aims, firstly, to address the institute of the writ of payment (precatório) as a peculiar means of paying the debts of the Public Treasury, within its characteristics and specifications, bringing an in-depth analysis of the subject and its effectiveness. It mainly analyses Constitutional Amendment 62/2009, known as the "default amendment", and the subject of ADIs 4425 and 4357, judged by the Federal Supreme Court, which ruled that the amendment was partially unconstitutional.
