The Construction of a Shrine to the Virgin of Fatima in Venezuela

We start from the criticism to the utilitarian visions that build a homo oeconomicus, whose decision making is unidimensional, only conceived from rationality; we take Faith, commonly considered a transcendental matter, as the driving element of an investment to build a Shrine to the Virgin of Fatima in Venezuela, led by the Portuguese-Venezuelan community.We want to understand the deep meanings of this action, which has allowed to bring together different nationalities in the work of erecting this Temple, whose effort represents the largest private investment that currently exists in the Altos Mirandinos, in economic and financial terms and that has been the product of a community effort, united and systematic, motivated by religious belief.
