The Contract Farming Thai-Laos: Cabbage, Champasak

Contract farming was implemented in Thailand as part of agro industry cooperation program Ayeyawady - Chao Phraya - Mekhong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) or formerly called Economic Corridor Strategy (ECS) aiming to develop Priority economic corridor (PRC). Members include Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The aim of this program is to expand occupations, increase income, develop the local area, and convey technology to ACMECS members includes Laos, Cambodia, and Burma. I am thankful to the Thailand Research Fund for the grant for this research.
