The contribution of SMEs in the milling industry to local economic development

Over the last three decades, the governments of various countries around the world, including Mozambique, have been focusing on the local economic development model, which essentially states that development should be a process that has its starting point in resources (economic, material and human), in the potential of each municipality, district or province, and above all, in SMEs, which occupy a strategic position in reducing poverty and promoting economic development.
