In this day and age we live in great uncertainty. No one really knows what is true and what is not anymore. Some people live so much in fear that they irrationally adapt their behavior. The Corona Soldiers from Virusland is my 'biology light' attempt to very simply explain to young and old alike that what is happening now to us is a part of life and always will be. It is the way of nature. Viruses have a simple purpose: reproduction as much as possible, as long as possible, anywhere they can. The main thing is that they are able to reproduce. That is why there was suddenly so much excitement in Virusland. A new virus was born. Disguised as a corona soldier, it went out into the world to achieve their mission...

Nicole Colling-Jorissen, 1966 geboren, aufgewachsen in Meerbusch - Büderich, studierte Biologie und Medizin bis zur Geburt ihres 1. Kindes 1992. Mittlerweile haben ihr Mann und sie 10 Kinder und betreiben einen Dressurausbildungsstall in Belgien. Die Coronasoldaten aus dem Virusland ist das 2. Buch nach dem Schnullermann. Dieses hat sie zusammen mit ihrem Vater, der für die Illustrationen damals zuständig war, geschrieben.
