The Design of Interpretation

The book "The design of interpretation" is oriented to students and researchers of design who accept uncertainty, change and contradiction as a complex whole that defines today's reality. On the one hand, this work intends to think the enigma of design permanently and not only sometimes, considering all the variables of our modernity. On the other hand, this book is a revisitation of a research developed 10 years ago and whose content remained in a repository of objects, when at birth it yearned to be a dynamic and revolutionary organism, proper to the essence of design.

Liliana SOARES è nata a Lisbona. Ha un dottorato in Design ed è ricercatrice al CIAUD, Università di Lisbona. È docente all'Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo (PT) e ha ricevuto premi e riconoscimenti internazionali nel campo del design. I suoi interessi si concentrano su teoria e critica del design, metodologie, design cognitivo, semiotica e spazio.
