The Development of a Remuneration Framework for Improved Performance

The study focused on the development of a remuneration framework for improved performance in state owned enterprises in Namibia. The main objective of this study was to develop a remuneration framework for improved performance in state owned enterprise. The study used qualitative methods as a research strategy. The research study employed the data collection method of using qualitative from the Ministry of Public Enterprises. Qualitative data was gathered using semi-structured interview. The study focused on board mebers remunaration as representative of the board members for each of the 97 state owned enterprises in Namibia. In addition, the study used a case study approach. Ministry of Public Enterprises (MPE) is responsible for setting up board members' remuneration act to ensure that public enterprises are placed in a position where they will be well managed so that they do not exist as a financial burden to the state.

Der Widerstand einiger Supervisoren gegen Veränderungen, die an traditionellen akademischen Normen festhalten, kann die Einführung emotionaler unterstützender Praktiken behindern. Darüber hinaus stellt die Wahrung beruflicher Grenzen bei gleichzeitiger Förderung der Empathie ein heikles Gleichgewicht dar, das sowohl bei den Betreuern als auch bei den Studierenden zu Unbehagen führen kann.
