The Development of European Identity in Erasmus Students

In this book, you will find both, theoretical information in relation to the development of European identity in Erasmus students, and the results of content analysis of 2,093 experience stories of Erasmus students from 33 different countries. In brief, by taking the content analysis of what the students have told and also by looking at the underlying meaning of what they have not told as a starting point, the study looks at whether or not the understanding of "European Identity", "EU Citizenship", "European Consciousness" and "European Person" have developed in Erasmus students.

Dr. Sevda Mutlu is an Assistant Professor working as an academic member of the Sociology Department, at the Cumhuriyet University, Turkey. In addition to her academic role, she has been the Erasmus coordinator of the Sociology Department since 2007.
