THE DEVIL'S DEVOTION IN CORPUS CHRISTI DE YARE

This work shows the intimate, devotional, emotional, ceremonial, ritual and social aspects that take place around the celebration of Corpus Christi in the town of San Francisco de Yare, Simón Bolívar Municipality, Miranda State, Venezuela. To understand how, around the traditional devotion, social, intimate-personal and collective aspects are activated to worship the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, seeking his divine intervention for the solution of certain health problems, others, in exchange for dancing disguised as the devil for an indefinite time, where the devil bows before the creator as a sign of the defeat of evil before good.
