The fundamental purpose of preschool education is to foster in children the integral and harmonious development of their physical, affective, social and cognitive capacities, based on the characteristics of this age and their social environment, in such a way that allows them to have autonomy and confidence in themselves to fully live this stage and face the later challenges of their school and social life. To refer to mathematics at this educational level is to talk about a discipline that is difficult to learn and teach, however, within the curricular proposal of the different study plans it represents part of the essential elements in the formation of every individual, since its learning in connection with other subjects allows the development of intellectual abilities: creativity, imagination, critical thinking, curiosity, etc. In other words, they contribute to the formation of the child.
