This book explores the effect of storytelling
storyboard visuals on ESL reading recall by
reviewing, interpreting, and conducting research in
language learning, second language reading recall,
and interactions between visual and verbal
components. It addresses issues such as
standardization of the value levels of recall units
and implementation of alternative methods of scoring
immediate recall protocols. It also discovers some
interesting language and visual features that affect
reading recall in particular experimental contexts.
