What's special about the environment is that it can't be approached in a compartmentalized way. Because what happens in one place can have major repercussions in any other place relatively far from the place of origin. The effects of air pollution have a way of showing their ugly face in the most unlikely places. The trail foundry case serves as a springboard. What enforcement mechanisms does international environmental law have at its disposal to deal with air pollution? The contribution of this book is intended to study the mechanisms of repression of air pollution, in order to make an efficient and dissuasive contribution to the repression of all forms of air pollution.
