The effectiveness of physiotherapy in the treatment of patients with CMD

This systematic review analyzes ten randomized controlled trials on the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic interventions for somatosensory tinnitus associated with CMD or the upper cervical spine. The results show significant improvements in tinnitus burden, quality of life and functional parameters. The work emphasizes the role of physiotherapy in an interdisciplinary context and points to the need for further high-quality studies.
