The Effectiveness of the Decisions of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights

What about the situation when the decision of an International Court is contrary to a decision of a domestic Constitutional Court? Or more specifically, when the Inter-American Court of Human Rights takes a decision contrary to the Brazilian Supreme Court?This paper aims to investigate the effectiveness of the decisions issued by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, in case of conflict with the internal legal system, dealing specifically with the case of the Araguaia Guerrilla War.
