Details

The purpose of this research is to examine the beliefs of Ghanaians concerning the beliefs of witchcraft and its effect on the Ghanaian society. The recent pop ups of churches in the nation seems to buttress the philosophy of our traditional religion which is so much concerned with witchcraft issues. The beliefs and myths about witchcraft are so enormous that it has affected the Ghanaian society negatively. The society's attitude toward work, interpersonal relationship, education, accessing health care, gender inequality, and others are affected badly. There is therefore a need to develop a holistic and a biblical approach to understand who a witch is and what their activities are.
