It is not a book that investigates the entire filmography of the Neapolitan director, but only that first period, the one that slowly led him to success. An emotional and sensitive look at that poetics made of human beings and social contexts.

Lorenzo Muscoso is a director, producer and writer. Throughout his career he has produced various works and curated Film Festivals. Since 2013 he has been engaged in the revival of Giovanni Verga's artistic production, reworking adaptations for theater and cinema. He is currently manager of the centenary of the veristic writer.
