To have a comprehensive and integrative healthcare system, we need a strong and solid collaboration between Traditional healers and Biomedical healers. The only organ that can foster such integration is the government that has the mandate to dictate the use of a well measured and tested traditional medicines. However, societies continue to witness the increasing gap between Traditional and Biomedical healers. The question remain, why is this gap expanding?

Dezidery Kajuna, is the health economicst, who holds first degree in Sociology from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He also hold a one year Master degree in Sociology from MidSweden University, Sweden and a two year Master degree in Health Economics, Policy and Management from the University of Oslo, Norway.
