The Global Oil Market

This book aims to explore the consequences of the changes in the strategic setting of the oil market on global energy markets and energy security from 2014 to 2022. The importance of this topic lies in the fact that oil is one of the most convenient energy sources through its availability around the world. Consequently, we have worked to define the variables which have led to an imbalance in the oil market contributing to the warning about the finite nature of oil and the need to go towards cleaner energies. In this book, we discussed four main axes: The first axis: Determinants of supply and demand in the global oil market.The second axis: The changes experienced by the global oil market in the period. The third axis: The repercussions of the global oil market changes on energy security in the exporting and importing countries.The fourth axis: Alternative fuels and their impact on the global energy market.
