The Gospel of Sustainable Management and National Sustainability

In academia, Inaugural Lectures are particularly aimed at giving new full Professors the golden opportunity to inform colleagues, the university community, and the general public about the extent of their work to date, current research interests, and future plans. This book, featuring the first ever Inaugural Lecture at Rhema University Nigeria, titled "The Gospel of Sustainable Management and National Sustainability: A Journey Towards Effective Resource Management," highlights the importance of 11 key drivers of national sustainability. These drivers include natural resources management, new public management, anti-corruption measures, ethics, good leadership, political will, good governance, rural development, reforms, human resource management, and entrepreneurship as monitorable variables of national development and sustainability. This book will serve as a model for defining Inaugural Lectures and promoting the significance of effective resource management in national sustainability.

John N. N. Ugoani holds a PhD in Management from the Faculty of Business Administration, Imo State University, Owerri, and is a Professor of Management at Rhema University Nigeria. His research interests focus on business, management, governance, emotional intelligence, and entrepreneurship, among other areas.
