The Green Morocco Plan through the lens of the written media

Like any public policy, the Green Morocco Plan (PMV) has had both successes and failures. However, despite its limitations, the Moroccan press is quick to praise it; the PMV remains strongly mobilized in discourse as a reference and a tool for economic recovery, the fight against rural poverty and agricultural modernization. How is the media coverage of the Green Morocco Plan characterized, and what representations do the written media construct of this public agricultural policy? This work answers this question. The results obtained have shown that the image conveyed by the media on the VMP is the consequence of a whole process of depoliticization which represents, in itself, a form of politicization.
