The impact of COVID-19 on economic vulnerability in Tunisia:

The globalization of the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic impacts are expected to wreak havoc on economies around the world. The purpose of this book is to provide a comprehensive theoretical understanding of the likely macroeconomic shocks of the pandemic on a wide range of economic activities in Tunisia. The assessments in this paper suggest that Tunisia, like almost all economies are severely affected, has experienced a recession in economic growth, inflationary pressures, a collapse in supply and demand, increased unemployment, reduced trade flows, increased poverty rates, and disruptions in the food supply chain caused by COVID-19 also affect food security.
