The impact of the connected car trend on motor insurance

This bachelor thesis deals with the trend of connected cars and its consequences for motor vehicle insurance. After an introduction to the topic and a definition of relevant terms, both the opportunities and risks of connected cars are explained. The focus of the thesis is on the range of telematics tariffs, with particular reference to the new possibilities for customer loyalty and premium calculation.

Dopo aver conseguito la maturità nel 2014, ho trascorso un periodo all'estero e poi ho iniziato un corso di studi duale presso Allianz. Per ottenere la laurea triennale in Scienze assicurative e finanziarie ho scritto la tesi "Gli effetti della tendenza alla mobilità Connected Car sull'assicurazione auto".
