The impact of women's experiences

To achieve development and peace, it is essential that women effectively enjoy their human rights, which are no different from those of men. Recognizing the importance of women's rights is an asset for real and sustainable development. In Africa in general, women represent the labor force in the agricultural sector and 60% in other sectors. They own less than 2% of the land and hold only 10% of salaried jobs. While 90% of what they earn is reinvested in the education and health of their families. The role of women in the management of resources is crucial and their socio-economic empowerment in the future will depend on what they have done with the management of their environment today. The man sees himself as the all-powerful one exercising a certain domination over the woman and is convinced that God, the law, the customs and traditions allow him to do so! It is our duty to make women in general aware of the violence and to exchange the daily experience of our sisters throughout the world.
