The Importance of Prevention and Early Diagnosis of Breast Cancer

Currently, advertising plays a significant role in promoting and publicizing products or services. However, when it comes to public health, particularly raising awareness among women about breast cancer, there is not much media convergence. Breast cancer is a neoplasm that begins when cells in a part of the body start to grow uncontrollably. Its development is different from that of a normal cell; instead of dying, cancer cells continue to grow and generate new abnormal cells. In most cases, these cancer cells form a tumor. Breast cancer is labeled as the most devastating disease for women, due to its persistence and, especially, the psychological effects it has on them. Communication today is defined as the progress of the media, the speed with which we are bombarded with information, and the constant adaptation of professionals to the market.
