Gandalf's arrival shook the "solid" structures of the quiet and simple inhabitant of Bag Bottom, Bilbo Baggins, causing an "awakening" of the adventurous and fearless side of the Tûk. From that point on, Bilbo ceased to be that simple and quiet fellow, he was developing, maturing and learning from each other and risking himself to help others, as well as to save himself from the dangers that came his way.

Y, como Bilbo, a veces necesita un pequeño empujón para iniciar una nueva aventura, pero, cuando empieza, llega hasta el final, aprendiendo sobre la marcha.
