Internet of Things (IoT) consist of things that have unique identities and are connected to the Internet Ex:- Networked computers, already have unique identity and are connected to the internet. The focus on IoT is in the configuration, control and networking via the Internet of devices or "things" that are traditionally not associated with the internet Eg: pump, utility meter, car engine The Scope of IoT is not limited to just connecting things (device, appliances, machines) to the Internet but to communicate and exchange data (control& information).

Dr. Pravin C. Latane has completed his PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Suresh Gyan Vihar University in Jaipur, India. His research pursuits revolve around two primary domains: the development of compact MIMO antennas optimized for high data rate communications in the context of 5G and exploration of planar microstrip antennas.
