The language of activist art

This book deals with the discursive construction of contemporary art that questions social relations, especially issues involving racism in Brazilian society. In this sense, Iulo Almeida investigates some artistic productions that have in common, in addition to their questioning soul, a connection with the city space and its consequences. More specifically, the author is interested in the anti-racist struggle that emanates from the work "Ação Bandeiras", taken to three different soccer stadiums to proclaim in favor of the black population.
