The legal Regime of Peacekeeping Operations

The book deals with the United Nations Security Councils mandate on Peacekeeping and Peace-building among nations where there is conflicts and the maintenance of peace by the international institutions and the use of non-force to achieve peace in the global environment. The book discusses the role of both regional and sub-regional international institutions such as ECOWAS and AU in contributing peacekeeper to war countries and maintaining the best approach to resolve conflicts among nations. The UN as an international institutions has the legal right to maintain peace as enshrined in the United Nations Charter without notice to any state once the life and safety of the citizenry is at sake.
