The Localisation of the PARSNIP Model and Authentic Materials for Libyan Third Level EFL Context presents in detail the many differences between cultures in the realm of EFL teaching.The book was indeed a result of a four-year work within the Libyan third level EFL University level. the author found that Libyan English language learners were enthusiastic toward cultural sensitive materials as the title proposes. many cultural sensitive material may be tolerated inside language classes, however, language professors should be careful in selecting their materials for their EFL classes.

Dr. Abdulhakim Belaid has for a number of years, been researching the use of authentic materials and authenticity in English language teaching in the Libyan higher educational level. Hakim recently completed his PhD in this area in the University of Limerick, Ireland. He is an EFL lecturer in Azzaytuna University, Libya.
