The Maoist Insurgency in Nepal & its Impact on the Nepal Police Morale

The 20th century world was fully involved in political changes. After the first and second world wars, colonial states tried to be independent countries. Similarly, some countries involved in revolutionary movement as USSR, Cuba, China, North Korea etc. This changed the power balance of world and divided as socialists and capitalists. Before the collapse of former USSR, the power struggle between the USA and USSR. Afterward, emergence of USA as unipolar super power, political analysers declared that socialism (Communism) is finished from the world and thinking it as an old (date expired) political philosophy. As the mentioned, it was proving too, as Eastern European countries and some Asian Countries who were following Marxism, falling and converted to Democratic system. But in 1996, Nepal involved in political internal war name as "people's war" by Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist). World didn't care it, even Nepal Government didn't take it seriously, where there were more that 20 Communist Parties already running and following the Communist manifesto.
