The aim of this study is to analyse the relationship between heavy metal and tattoos based on a series of interviews conducted in 2016, in which the subjects explain the factors that motivated them to get tattoos and relate them to their preferences, sometimes linked more directly and sometimes more indirectly to this musical subgenre. In this sense, this attempt seeks to relate these instances based on the reported experience of each subject through an anthropological analysis.
