The Ministry of Reconciliation a Comparative Study

Being in the middle of Africa, Angola was during
these troubled years of civil war as dusturbing an
issue for all Africa as were the fourty-four years
of the apartheid policy in South Africa. In both
countries dramatic changes took place and people
experienced a new era of their histories, posing new
challenges that churches need to face boldly. The
Luena
memorandum did not lead the country into national
reconciliation or into the needed process of
healing. Hence the present study. Focusing on the
truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC), aims to
offer a comparative study of the South Africa and
Angolan experience so that a ministry of
reconciliation might be developped for Angola.

Rev. Dr Lutiniko Landu Miguel Pedro is Mennonite Brethren Pastor born in Angola in 1959 is Married to Luanfwenkenda Carolina in 1990 they have five children. He is missiologist with a PhD degree from The University of Pretoria 2008.He got a certificat for conflict resolution.He is teacher at the Bible Institute of Missiology at Luanda.
