The Motel

"The Motel" is the first of a series of short stories which are meant to discuss controversial topics that human consciousness is faced with, in this age of confusion and despair. Each of the stories deals with a specific challenging issue. Through intense exchanges between the characters of the story, the reader shall be able to sense the topic addressed in the story and the various circulating views in connection to it.The series uses the classical dialogue approach, which I found to be very useful in authoring these types of works. The book "Republic", written by the great Greek philosopher Plato, is the model I used. I hope that the reader shall find this series of fictional literary works, starting with "The Motel", as a stimulating, challenging, and rewarding read.

Dr Abouzeedan holds a Ph.D. in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Although retired, the author is still active as a researcher and as a scientist. This is his first literary work of a fictional nature. His first non-fiction book, titled "The Elaheenic Philosophy: A Concise Introduction" was published in August 2021.
