There is a great necessity to understand the needs
of
children orphaned by
HIV/AIDS in middle childhood as the number of
HIV/AIDS orphans is
rising too dramatically. It is further important
that
these needs are
addresses efficiently and appropriately by the
correct party. This research has tried to
identify the needs of these children and provided
ways in which they can be addressed timely and
efficiently.

Thobeka was born in Eastern Cape in a small village calledHerschel; She matriculated in 1989 at Mehlomakulu high school.She obtained her Junior degree with Honours in social work in1993 at the university of Transkei (UNITRA). She obtained Socialwork masters focusing on Health and Social work management atUniversity of Pretoria.
