The New Handbook of Counseling Supervision
Details
The classic edition of this groundbreaking book includes a new preface from the authors discussing developments in the field since the handbook's initial publication.
"The book is the best for beginning supervisors who want an overview of supervision, good documentation forms, supervisor questions, and suggestions for supervision. It is also good for those who are seasoned supervisors and want to supplement the book in practicum courses with personal experiences."PsycCRITIQUES "Borders's and Brown's practice oriented guide in counseling supervision is a must-have tool for both supervisees and supervisors. One notable facet of this revision is its expansion of multicultural and diversity issues. Of particular merit is the authors' discussion of the multicultural influences on the supervisory relationship and their inclusion of concrete questions and activities that supervisors can utilize with their supervisees to increase cultural awareness."Catherine Y. Chang, Georgia State University
