The Part-Time Worker

The working day of less than thirty days, affiliation to the Health System and salary lower than the Minimum Legal Monthly Wage in Force, are the characteristics of a Part-Time Worker, a figure which has taken a great relevance in the current labor environment in Colombia, reason for which the present research determines the legal development regarding the same, describing the legislative progress and identifying the relevant milestones in the Colombian legislation by means of a legal analysis. An exploratory methodology is used, the purpose of which is to highlight fundamental aspects of the subject and to use a qualitative/ descriptive model.
