The Pensioner's Special

Eric Snoop, a retired private eye and OAP, is approached by two teenage girls worried about the disappearance of their uncle. Reluctantly accepting the case, Eric is soon confronted by other mysteries (a phantom stealer of men's trousers and the sighting of a naked man in nearby woods) that at first sight don't appear to be linked. Strange occurrences multiply. Some of Eric's neighbours are behaving oddly, while others disappear in the company of grey-suited men. What on earth is going on, and can Eric find out in time?
