The Perverse Effect of Good Governance: Lessons from Morocco

Morocco has successfully managed to make the groups a political tool to establish local democracy based on the extensive representation of the population and their participation in local management, then in the midwife it did not win the whole bet in making the local groups the first cell in achieving comprehensive and sustainable development. We need to be careful about the responsibility to point out that the conditions that the management of collective bodies have become, were behind the adoption of the concept of governance as an effective tool and means to simplify the major strategic directions in good management of local public affairs, in an attempt to overcome the obstacles and crises experienced in the management of this field. And that is through working to provide the necessary metastatic, organizational, human and financial conditions, as well as furnishing the political, cultural and social climate, within the framework of an integrated, comprehensive vision for rational planning, programming and organization within a clear development philosophy of goals and objectives.
