The poetics of the non-verbal body:

This work seeks to discuss and reflect on the theatrical scene from a poetics of the body, based on the manifestation of the subject as a constructor of signs and meanings. The focus of the work is on the relationship between the non-verbal body and comicality on stage. How can we laugh and make people laugh without using spoken words? What role does the body play in constructing comic signs on stage? What is the subject and how does its existence materialize in time and space? These are some of the questions that are present in the discussions raised in this work.

Heráclito est titulaire d'une maîtrise en arts du spectacle de l'université fédérale de Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) et d'un diplôme en théâtre de l'université fédérale de Paraíba (UFPB). Il a travaillé comme professeur d'arts du spectacle dans le système scolaire municipal de Cabedelo-PB. Outre son expérience dans l'enseignement, Heráclito est acteur et coordinateur du groupe théâtral Sala Verde.
