The Political Economy of Chinese FDI in Africa

This book provides unique insight into Chinese foreign direct investment (FDI) in Africa. With a particular focus on Ethiopia, it examines the impact of FDI on Africa's industrial and manufacturing sector and the potential for productive FDI to advance industrialisation and create jobs for a large and young labour market.
