The political system established by the constitution of February 18, 2006

The work comprises three chapters: a preliminary chapter on the Generalities of political regimes, in which we discuss the theory of the separation of three powers, while moving on to a discussion of the classical typology of political regimes, in which we define the presidential, parliamentary and semi-presidential regimes, which are currently considered to be modern classical regimes; the first chapter analyzed the political system instituted by the constitution of February 18, 2006, noting that the DRC's current constitution has established a French-style semi-presidential system, and the second chapter dealt with the political system as applied, demonstrating how the republic's institutions actually function. In short, the book project deals with the practical operation of the semi-presidential regime as set out in the constitution of February 18, 2006.
