The Politics of Underdevelopment In Jamaica

Jamaica's socio-economic progress since its independence in 1962 is an interesting case study of underdevelopment in the face of economic reform. The experiments and trends of various fiscal policies provide fertile ground for analysis. This work traces the early post-colonial history of the nation and analyzes the factors which have contributed to its current state.
