Details

This book resulted from the syncretism of several approaches with a common interest in the search for a theory of consciousness. A fresh approach to the problem of consciousness is advanced. A radical reformulation of core concepts: Space, Time, Event and Motion (STEM), transforms many ontological assumptions about consciousness. Combining the notion of consciousness-moment-energy-events developed by Vasubandhu, Yogacarin Buddhist with David Bohm s quantum mechanical ideas about 'active- information' and 'non-locality' synthesized together with an adaptation of Bohm s thesis of the explicate and implicate orders of the Universe respectively Expression order and Impression order. These ideas are framed by a triadic scheme, the Triangulate-Three Principle (TTP) Consciousness, Body-of-Experience, and the Intellect-Reflective, a proposed principle of being formed by these triadic-conditions, which coheres with a physical-theoretical model called Signature-Energy-Frequency (SEF). This book will be especially useful to professionals and students in consciousness studies, professionals in areas of metaphysics, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of time.
